This is an important piece of information to know because, in fact, both levels of the mind are contributing thoughts. If you think about the human dilemma of compartmentalization of their mind as being an abnormality, an abnormal state of being because it would be an integrated whole normally, it is only logical then, that both levels of the mind would be actively interacting with the thought plane, and such is the case.
