DWQA QuestionsCategory: KarmaDoes it sometimes happen that an incoming soul changes its mind and impulses the mother to have an abortion?

This can, in effect, happen when the mother detects the presence of inner discord, doubt, and fear being projected by the incoming soul. This can demotivate the mother if already inclined to not be pregnant at the particular time this happens, and push the mother into taking this harsh step to end things. It may be in the conscious awareness all along during this stage of the individual’s life, that it is not yet really time to have a child. That is not always in sync with what the higher self has decided, or what the person wants at an even higher soul level in arranging for a new soul to come down and to be raised and brought into the current potential family setting. When there is a strong and violent reaction to a mother’s horror in finding out she is pregnant, and very much wishes it had not happened and wants it all to go away, the incoming soul may well detect that negativity and feel it quite strongly and then may return it as an echo. This can serve as further fuel when added to the mother’s misgivings about bearing a child, whether taking it to full-term and then offering the child for adoption, or seeking an abortion to prevent having to go through the difficulties and discomfort of the pregnancy and delivery, not to mention having to then separate from a biological child. The incoming soul does not request an abortion per se as an outlet or solution. If it is the one having misgivings, the same fate might await. The mother may detect the strong dislike for its energetic presence within the mother’s energy and this might start a downward spiral of increasing doubt and fear, and tip the balance into the direction of having a termination of the pregnancy when otherwise might not be the case once the mother adjusts to the idea and starts to see a positive aspect. So it is possible for the incoming soul to decide its own fate indirectly through influencing the mother’s state of mind and decision-making about whether to stay the course and allow development of the fetus.
