DWQA QuestionsCategory: KarmaHe asks: “After the collision did happen, was it unbelief that prevented a miracle of total restoration when it looked like she was okay after the huge impact and found on the other side of the road standing up and looking normal? We’ve seen many miracles and this would have been a great one. There was no blood initially and seemingly no broken bones, torn cartilage or ligaments, maybe even no concussion. Was all that by divine grace so that she did not feel pain?” What can we tell him?

This is a keen observation of the fact that your prior prayer and healing work helped to mitigate the circumstances, to make the lesson a stark one on one level but less painful individually, especially for the dog, than might have been the case, and that was indeed divine grace bestowed. But, as we have explained, there was a karmic imperative for the event to happen and thus needed to take place. The Law of Karma is not designed to be a punishment tool, it is designed to be a realignment tool to provide an incentive for finding ways to return to divine alignment. That is not a punishment but a solution for inadequacy and difficulties of all kinds resulting in some kind of negativity, so that it will not have to be endured forever but only until a lesson is learned to the extent a solution is found.
