This is a common characteristic of authoritarianism. Holding power over others can only be done using lies to gain and hold onto that power. The regime of the powerful must be seen as solid, invulnerable, and certainly unconquerable so opposition is futile and one has more to gain by being compliant and cooperative, and count your blessings as the recipient of whatever largesse the powerful will dole out to you to maintain your cooperation. The authoritarian mind will see any criticism as an attack because inner weakness makes them shallow and actually lacking in confidence. They only have their ego to keep them warm and it is not enough, so they look for the accolades of the masses as a reassurance of their power, and consequently their worth, as the only measure available to them that matters. So those in power who are authoritarian will exhibit great rigidity of thought and action. They cannot be flexible because to them that is felt to be weakness, so they look for simple categorical solutions they can enforce by exerting power and control, establishing many rules, regulations, and an enforcement mechanism through police powers and military might, and what they are seeking is conformity and obedience. Because they don’t really care about others, they will not really care if their methods and procedures work to solve any problems or create any benefit for others than themselves. That lack of flexibility creates many inequities and many will suffer, but this will be hidden and the flow of information will be carefully controlled by the powers that be, so things will simply not be questioned and if they are, the questioner will likely receive retribution for failing to conform to expectations in being a minion who does what they are told. This is the dark world of the predator, it is the world of those who truly control the world, the members of the Extraterrestrial Alliance, those races of extraterrestrials who are all psychopaths and rule through ruthlessness and savagery in their own worlds and have corrupted the world to look that way much of the time—that is the reason the world is filled with hierarchies with powerful leaders at the top and underlings to serve them. When there is inevitable friction, disobedience, and competition, this will lead to war rather than an improved culture that minimizes discord and serves all its members efficiently and effectively. Such a world cannot exist when run by the interlopers and they have forced you to act like them—the shoe does not fit but it pinches mightily and that is why you suffer.
