DWQA QuestionsCategory: ReincarnationHow likely is it to happen that a dog that reincarnates can exhibit the ability to do complicated tricks or behaviors that were taught to it in a previous lifetime with the current owner, as depicted in the recent motion pictures, A Dog’s Purpose, and A Dog’s Journey?

You may be surprised to learn that that is not so uncommon as one would think. It appears to be a stretch of imagination and an exaggeration almost for comedic effect, rather than a serious depiction of a metaphysical phenomenon that is accurately portrayed and energetically valid in the workings of consciousness, but we can tell you this is not only plausible but has happened. It is only the case that relatively few prior pets are actually acquired by human beings and that most pet owners make few demands on their companion animals in the way of unusual behaviors. Most simply want to share their home with cats and follow the cat’s lead as to what it will tolerate in terms of closeness and signaling a desire to interact with the owner. Most dog owners want more frequent interaction with their pet and want it to accept being petted, take walks with them, and perhaps learn to play some games like fetching a ball or other object, but little beyond that, which many dogs are capable of learning. So this is not seen as unusual if the behavior is readily exhibited because the pet was previously trained by that owner to do the same thing. In the case of these motion picture screenplays, the behaviors in question were indeed unusual and very uncommon behaviors that were elicited through training and would, in fact, be noticed with reunion of the dogs in question with the prior owner.
