DWQA QuestionsCategory: Channeling PitfallsMany questions are open-ended, and can be answered from different perspectives and levels of detail. How big a problem is this in getting the best information from a channeling session?

This is a nicely stated description of a major problem with channeling work done by individuals reacting to events and information passed back and forth via the Internet. The shared information may well be fragmentary or even distorted before it gets to a channeler with a final request for enlightenment. This puts the channeler at a disadvantage, as well as the questioner arriving at this point wanting clarification of something, perhaps with only a meager understanding of it personally, and the channeler may be completely in the dark about the entire subject and its context historically, personally, and technically with respect to any desired or potential details that could be provided by the divine realm in answering the query. So, once again, due consideration must be given to doing one’s homework. There needs to be a certain amount of scholarship to determine the current state of the art, the current state of knowledge in a given arena to use as a jumping-off point, so to speak. This will enable the divine realm to fill in some gaps and provide new information if there is a reasonable starting point for a meeting of the minds. The divine realm will not provide an education for someone de novo, meaning without any prior foundation. We simply cannot do a person’s work for them in a total sense. There can be a furthering of knowledge, a clarification, and to some degree, an extension of certain kinds of information when there is a basic framework that has been acquired, but it is impossible for the divine realm to build a new edifice for someone who has no idea where they need to go and what it might look like. That is making many decisions on their behalf and leading them to new things, in a new way, in a new direction they themselves have not chosen. This is forbidden by the rules. This is why so much channeled information is indeed incremental. This must be so by the rules of engagement. It is not you are unable to connect to Creator directly, who could answer anything and everything you might conceive of, it is that you cannot be led into areas of which you know nothing because that would be leading you in a new direction you yourself have no idea exists and would not be able to go there at all on your own. So it is blazing a new trail for you which could be an enticement or even work the other way as a discouragement when, in fact, if uncovered on your own, might become intriguing by virtue of having made the investment personally. There are many intricacies in human feeling and the choices made in utilizing consciousness that will vary and even differ from day-to-day, depending on the mood and what has happened recently for an individual. No two days and no two responses will be identical usually. There will be variations, new possibilities, depending on the conditions—what a person has been exposed to, how they have been primed, their knowledge base, their particular leanings, and their openness at the moment, and interest, and the degree of passion they feel on the matter in hearing new perspectives and information. If there is but a passing interest, an obligation or a duty to simply placate someone, or the subject matter has no fascination whatsoever, the intention level of the channeler alone may result in a weaker response than might otherwise be the case. So there are many opportunities for the outcome to be shaped by the channeler and the nature of the person—who they are, how they think, what they feel on certain matters, and even the circumstances of the particular session, and all the vagaries of how the question came to be posed, and by whom, for what purpose, and so forth.
