Talk of war with Iran is ramping up. Many are of the opinion that the U.S. taking military action to topple the Iranian regime leadership, specifically the Ayatollah, his family, and their inner circle, is a necessary step to further stabilize the Middle East and also free the Iranian people from tyranny. How likely is such a military step to take place and is this a necessary prelude to launching of the tidal power outages?

What we would say is that war against Iran is not necessary. We have told you before that, despite their harsh and long list of evil acts, they do not want an armed conflict within their border and will almost always choose some path to defuse tensions in some way at the last minute because they realize the massive power of the U.S. and the reality they will likely be on their own if push comes to shove. There is not a record of success in the other major powers rallying at their side and standing up to the U.S. in a direct confrontation amidst armed conflict. That is breaking new ground in a dangerous way. That does not mean it will not happen because it might well be brought into being by President Trump acting as the major influence and orchestrator of a catastrophic military assault, strictly to cause trouble that will be quite difficult to repair. As history has shown again and again, once nations are bombed they are never the same and they will not forgive their aggressor within their lifetime. So it is always an act of desperation or hubris and, either way, will likely be orchestrated by the interlopers to bring it about, and that is the case here. We cannot be sure yet which direction this might go. We do not see this as being an essential event prior to the power outages, so you cannot use this as a tell to see where you are in the sequence of events, and thus not have to be at the ready until it happens. Much as that would be a useful state of affairs, the situation is more flexible than this being a necessity. There can always be a major military campaign launched after the outages and used as a justification for a military reprisal. So this increase in tension is deliberately cultivated to lay the groundwork for things playing out in that dark scenario. It is not carved in stone so it is not essential to happen. What is essential is for there to be turmoil and fear, and that is often an ample reward for getting the talking heads promoting all sorts of extreme viewpoints and scenarios, so time will tell.
