DWQA QuestionsCategory: Coronavirus COVID-19The New England Journal of Medicine just published a non-randomized study of hydroxychloroquine coupled with azithromycin in patients with moderate to severe COVID-19 infections, showing no benefit compared to a control group, using intubation or death as endpoints. Can you comment on the prospects for this therapy, in light of this study and your prior endorsement of this treatment?

This is not a perfectly designed or carried out investigation. As the authors mention, there is a 40% worse arterial oxygen level in the group given hydroxychloroquine than in the controls, but the biggest uncontrolled factor is the potential for interference with the clinical trial results, and indeed this was a large enough study for the Extraterrestrial Alliance to take an active role to manipulate the patient outcomes in a way that would erase a visible benefit of the treatment. This, unfortunately, is a fact of life, that in the same way the Extraterrestrial Alliance has a myriad of ways to create a targeted killing of someone they want to eliminate, they can also manipulate the health outcome of individuals undergoing a clinical trial. They do the same in influencing jury panels to convict the innocent and to free the guilty, so why would they not manipulate the outcome of scientific studies by carrying out a clandestine influence on the test subjects that will bias the results in the desired direction, in this case not showing a significant beneficial outcome in the most severe endpoints of intubation and death? Another deficiency of the study is that it was conducted in patients with severe clinical conditions being in the moderate to severe category, whereas the agents tested will show the best efficacy given early in the course of the illness, but that is a minor point. Almost anyone with even severe symptoms can receive some benefit from hydroxychloroquine in particular. Whether it will be sufficient to save them or not will be an individual variable due to a host of other factors, but in all likelihood this will be a highly useful therapy when not tampered with by outside influence and simply administered as a routine on faith and the strength of other anecdotal reports if those can hold sway, as well as the smaller studies showing a benefit published heretofore. While unpersuasive to the highly critical demands of the scientific elite, they are pointing to an accurate conclusion nonetheless, that the drug has benefits. We have not said this will provide a cure that is decisive, only that it will show efficacy and for all the reasons mentioned, including effects on cell oxygen delivery via protecting hemoglobin in the red blood cell through its chemical properties, in addition to having anti-inflammatory and antiviral activities. Unfortunately, this is not the only time promising medical therapies when reaching the clinic have shown no benefit due to extraterrestrial manipulation of the clinical trial results. It is yet another way they interfere in human affairs to delay human progress and maintain unnecessary suffering despite human ingenuity and creative endeavors that are frequently assisted with divine inspiration but may come to naught if interfered with during the scientific investigation.
