DWQA QuestionsCategory: Coronavirus COVID-19There have been prominent announcements from the FDA about the inadvisability and dangers of people using ivermectin to treat COVID-19. Caution about taking pill formulations intended for large animals by humans is understandable, but this seems to have the same feel as the trashing of hydroxychloroquine early and often by the medical establishment exaggeration of possible side effects and even alteration of the data in clinical trials to make it falsely look both ineffective and highly toxic. Is that planned or underway to deliberately undercut further studies of ivermectin?

Unfortunately, such manipulations are more than likely. This is standard practice across the board in important areas of medicine at all levels, from the research stage to the clinic. There are roadblocks, manipulations to delay, obfuscation of the information and feedback, and various corruptions to cause loss of records, mistakes made in data recording, administration of the test substances, and so on, all intended to confound and corrupt the results and their interpretation. This includes, as you have seen, outright fabrication of data or heavily biased suppression through causing peer-reviewers to reject worthy studies on specious grounds to, at a minimum, preclude their publication in major journals, but mostly to delay and wear down the authors by requiring difficult, if not impossible, standards, or repeating of some of the investigations using differing procedures, and so on, which might not be economically feasible or even possible any longer. This is done again and again all across the panorama to hold back human progress.
