You saw intuitively the reason for this. The benefits were perceived as positive so the data, as far as they go, are a reasonable reflection of the effects of the substances administered to these test subjects. There was a calming effect, a quieting effect, a kind of restoration of order so sleep was improved, daily function was improved, mood was improved. But the next question is, at what cost? And this you are asking next.
