You have seen, intuitively, there will be a rush to acquire this safety backup by many who have never felt a need for such coverage, but after undergoing an ordeal of a multi-day loss of power in their residence, see the wisdom in having this as a safety net. That over-demand and under-supply will only be magnified with each new power outage, going from region to region worldwide, because this is a worldwide problem and not just a US vulnerability that will further strain the supply chain heavily.
