Your dear friend will get through this just fine. We are seeing to it. It is truly that simple. Despite her negativity and her strong fears about all things health-related, given her history and many bouts of trauma from the medical system, she is not beyond the pale and certainly not beyond reach of the divine. She does want to live and that is key. Your helping her provides the other missing piece, a strong advocate for her betterment to counter her helplessness.
