You are resisting this idea, but saw intuitively that it was too elegant a seeming accidental encounter to converge at just the right spot to have poor visibility of the trajectories of the two aircraft by the pilots, and be distracted enough to enable the collision to proceed. So, we can tell you, this was assisted by the Extraterrestrial Alliance through the usual means of distraction and mind control manipulation at key points, to increase the chance of a mishap. They do this all the time as a kind of game, many times succeeding to at least have a minor incident or near miss, but occasionally a spectacular loss of life or negative economic consequences, or both.
