This is a useful criterion because those who use this process to provide a source of Black Seed Oil are more savvy with respect to handling the starting materials and processing them in a way to prevent, or at least minimize, the degradation. It is not absolutely essential, but that depends on other variables that will not be discernible from the labeling and source alone.
