DWQA QuestionsCategory: Healing ModalitiesIs the Pectasol Detox Formula advertised by Dr. Janet Zand safe and effective as claimed, for eliminating a wide array of chemical toxins from the body?

This is a very effective detoxing regimen and is one of the safest because it is based on natural materials that are designed to accomplish this very thing. Keep in mind that the world of noxious chemicals is not solely a man-made issue. There are many, many chemical substances in nature that can contaminate foodstuffs. There are many things that can be imbibed by plants and taken into the cells from the water coming up from the soil and carrying with it many chemical constituents that may be in high concentration because of the mineral content in the region where the crops are being grown. This will rarely be appreciated unless there is some monitoring of the foodstuffs and then the origin traced back to actual farm sites and an investigation carried out to check soil and water used in its production. As you know, there are many toxic chemicals in groundwater in certain regions so this will enter the food chain. So to have natural foodstuffs that can serve to draw out some of these poisons from the body and prevent serious damaging concentrations developing in the body tissues has been built into nature to help people cope with this eventuality. But, as with all such natural remedies, with ignorance about such substances and their utility there cannot be a concerted and conscious effort to exploit them, especially without knowledge of ongoing need and urgency that may be the case where a contamination of a serious nature is underway. It is often late along when people are suffering symptoms and get no relief, they will look to more exotic causes like this. Whereas the ideal would be to have a rotating, quite diverse diet that would increase the likelihood of getting something of all the natural remedies on at least an occasional basis taken in turn, but this rarely happens in today’s world where diets are more circumscribed and limited by local produce to make things more affordable and with the acculturation for palatability being prized. This further constrains what people will take into their bodies and many opportunities are missed with the more exotic but less desirable plant matter that could be ingested and produce a benefit in the body. So this is a moving target and there are many opportunities remaining for new discoveries and for optimization to further extend the gains and the potential for those regimens that have been identified heretofore and promoted.
