DWQA QuestionsCategory: KarmaA practitioner asks: “A friend’s dad last week had a terrible accident. He fell into a fire pit and received third-degree burns on both of his hands. My friend, who loves his dad tremendously, had the later reaction of being angry at his dad for doing this. Was this meddling by dark spirit entities and did he have karmic vulnerability?”

This was karmic in origin and this is the reason the accident took place. There was a karmic predisposition to have such a misfortune befall him. This is something that can occur suddenly at any time simply because one’s life creates an opening for karma to be expressed in the moment, and the Law of Karma will swiftly go into action to bring things to a head, so to speak. That is what happened here, that he was in a situation where simply a moment of losing his balance could result in a serious injury that paralleled a past life circumstance that would be a karmic replay, and by taking place, create a rebalancing of things in the akashic records that are linked to him and his prior activities. So we are not at liberty to discuss the life of a third party in detail, but simply wish to clarify and confirm your suspicion here, that there is much more to the story than a simple accident that seems perhaps an act of carelessness. Karma is very powerful and can bring about almost anything, including a rapid death seemingly out of the blue, so to speak. This is certainly a most unfortunate and painful episode but is an everyday occurrence because so many people have their lives greatly influenced by such karmic histories and this shapes their degree of success and happiness in many, many respects without a conscious awareness this is even happening. They see things as simply good luck or bad luck—chance events that may change the course of their life for better or for worse, and so on, when in fact there is a close correspondence between who they are and what happens to them in the context of a multi-life journey of the soul.
