This is always a good idea if you have a sense that someone might be troubled because you might well be correct. There are people who are, for all practical purposes, beyond the pale, and to take them on and devote your life to serving them, in the face of inexhaustible needs, may well deplete you in your efforts that could be used more effectively elsewhere. There are also individuals who become an agent provocateur of the darkness, who are motivated to seek out helpers and healers, specifically to exhaust them with a bottomless pit of needs and suffering, and who will basically be refractory to any healing outreach and may become difficult, and eventually turn on the practitioner, and endanger them legally, and perhaps even physically. If you are adept at finger strength testing, you can ask Creator if it is best to steer clear of someone. You can also appeal to your channel if he has time to check on a potential problem person you are unsure about.
