We would say that the descriptions of AI capability are an exaggeration and overambitious at this point in time. There will certainly be growth of capability, enhancement, refinement, and an extension of the human culture to have higher functioning AI available as an adjunct, but they will not be the equivalent or a replacement for human intelligence. After all, they are soulless systems, and that cannot be changed, only mimicked. So that's what we see happening over time, a growing capacity and adeptness of AI robotic interface technologies that will be interacted with and responded to as basically a human functionary like clerks, doormen, waiters, and the many kinds of service industry employees with specialized knowledge. The advent of AI is perfect for creating a tireless instant expert to have at one's beck and call. Given that no human beings are all-knowing or perfect and free from error, it will be achievable to have a comparable level of functioning for most routine everyday interactions. While for some this creates a kind of sterile, synthetic world, many people will not care, at least those in the current generation who are already damaged and quite limited from manipulations of all kinds to have low expectations, insensitivity, and a more limited range of expression in soul attributes at their disposal.
