DWQA QuestionsCategory: Non-Local ConsciousnessA practitioner writes: “For the last month or so, maybe a little more I am so keenly aware that we’re all walking around in this beautiful-symphony-membrane of energy field that connects all of us to everything everywhere – I just can’t ignore it anymore. Maybe I’ll learn how to enhance my LHP practice by giving my perceptions acknowledgment. I said in an earlier email that I felt like the different realities were like photographic slides one behind the other, behind the other, but that is incorrect. Embedded within one another, interlinked, connected, and I don’t think we really “go” anywhere. It’s our shift in consciousness that changes “location,” but even the word location does not suffice. The irony: we are swimming in, drenched in, surrounded by, living and breathing, listening and responding to everything else – the very thing everyone is looking for – God – a consciousness field that’s alive and knows each one of us intimately, everything, every little secret, everything we’ve ever done, thought, said, felt, wanted. Empty air, space, outer space – is not possible. I’m seeing and feeling this “field” more and more and more every day. I pretend I don’t notice because people around me will think I’m crazy, so I don’t say anything. But perhaps I’m doing a disservice by remaining quiet?” What is she experiencing and sensing and what is its significance?

She is sensing that part of the quantum field that consists of consciousness. This encompasses as well, the collective unconscious of humanity and the collective unconscious of other beings, including the extraterrestrials, the angelics, and the many other types of beings living throughout the Universe. This is why non-local consciousness can journey anywhere at any time and find something that can be sensed and even communicated with. So her sense of this being quite real and quite profound is literally true. It is an energy field that exists, and contains all of humanity as well as the divine and everything else there is. And perceiving this and navigating within it, is very much as she concludes, only requiring the merest shift in conscious attention to decide where one wishes to be and then what action to take when aware of a particular level or segment within this vast field of consciousness. This is how the intuitive reach works. It is just that most individuals travel from here to there, pick up something that seems finite and case-specific because of the intention they are holding. And therefore, this process of connecting, once it takes place, is rapid and there is little sense of travel or seeing the bigger picture before focusing in on the desired target, which is less expansive and less awe-inspiring and without containing a sense of the unexplored, and so on. She is holding open a wider perspective and is therefore seeing a wider landscape of possibilities. Even as she senses that the vastness is all within her grasp and therefore cannot be so very large, that too is an illusion. It is not that it is of infinite size, but that her ability to traverse it is profound, and cuts it down to size, so to speak, to make it quite feasible to go anywhere she chooses instantly. So the reality of existence is that it does appear larger than is actually the case, but it is not so small that it fits in the palm of one’s hand as though it were a microcosm on a microscopic scale and hovering above it you can see it all within your gaze because of its tiny nature. It is more the opposite, that it is vaster than the self or any other observer, but your ability to comprehend and perceive it, even in toto, is a kind of miraculous capability that does not do justice to the intricacies and comprehensive nature of the field of consciousness itself. Your ability to perceive it in a way that is desired, gives great latitude for experiencing it in different ways and seeing the implications in how the energy field is constructed and operates. And indeed, the most important take-home lesson is the interconnectedness of everything, not only that one can go from "here" to "there" instantly and be aware of what one sees, but the very fact one can do so implies "here" is connected to "there" energetically, and that in turn implies that what is happening "here" can affect what is going on "there" and vice versa. That is also true. The most important learning to be had from this exercise in nonlocal but expanded awareness, is the interconnection of everything in existence as well as its interdependence in a very real sense, through the workings of energy. Everything is not only connected to everything else, but will influence it energetically through the holding of intention, giving rise to the consciousness added to this vast field of consciousness. In a sense, it is a sharing and a creation as well of a single fabric that has many component strands that are interwoven and interlinked to one another, such that if you pull on one end it will be felt on the other end. There are many things to be learned and appreciated about why creation exists in this form. The first and most prosaic, but yet all-important, is that everything matters, everything has meaning, everything has a purpose, and everything has value, both to itself and all that is, because everything, including you, are parts of a whole and that status gives you importance and standing as a necessary part in things. Creation was designed to include you, after all, so there is a part for you to play, and your choices will matter and be of influence.
