DWQA QuestionsCategory: KarmaA viewer asks: “I got a call yesterday from the lawyer’s office I used to resolve my last debt case. They told me I have to find a new attorney, because the one who was going to do the next two cases for me WAS STRUCK BY A CAR AS A PEDESTRIAN and is in the hospital in serious condition! Was this lawyer, who built a law firm and made a lucrative career out of defending the little guy from aggressive and often dishonest debt buyers and collectors, a victim of the interlopers, wishing to take out a true “lightworker” protecting the little guy?”

While it is tempting to turn to thoughts of conspiracy when you know such things happen routinely, that the whistleblower can end up dead and has happened again and again, this is not such a situation because he is not dealing with world level issues and thorns in the side of the established order, but more involved with individuals fighting local financial system predators. That would be less likely in any case. This was the action of karma at work by virtue of being an attorney representing many people for whom powerful individuals, at least monetarily powerful, hold in disdain the accumulated hatred of many organizations and individuals whose livelihood depends on bringing debtors to heel and extracting financial reward from them because they have invested in the enterprise, and their livelihood depends on reining in the debtor and being successful in court oftentimes. The defense attorney is at the head of the line in their focus and seen often as the chief opponent, in fact. Debtors, by virtue of their conduct, have already demonstrated they are evading responsibility presumably and then by engaging a defense attorney, that advocate becomes the point of focus, the point of the spear reared in their defense, and then becomes the opponent of the debt collector and their representatives. The swirling hatreds act as a kind of psychic attack to label this attorney and brand him with the energetic signature of an opponent. This, in turn, makes them a target for others having a grievance, holding a grudge, or having simmering anger and resentment about any number of personal situations for whom they have someone who they hold in disdain and would love to see punished in some way. This creates the energy of attack in the psyche deep within the subconscious as an imperative seeking an answer. The attorney himself being constantly under siege and at the center of the swirling combative energies, takes much abuse on a regular basis and while there is always a toughening to grow thick skin, so to speak, there is always inner fear and doubt about their actions, particularly as they know some clients are morally reprehensible in what they have done to get themselves into trouble, and others less so, but will usually take on all comers because they do deserve representation under the law. So it is legal to do so and lucrative as well but there are always mixed feelings involved to some degree if only on a subconscious level for the case‑hardened defense lawyer. The combination of energies is, therefore, a karmic setup for an attacker and a target to come together and that is exactly what transpired in this situation. The Law of Karma saw an opportunity through vulnerability on the part of the lawyer to meet with an attacking force in the reality of a vehicle striking him and causing grievous injury. But for the history of the driver and the attorney pedestrian, this would not have happened. It was entirely attributable to the karmic energies in play.
