DWQA QuestionsCategory: Coronavirus COVID-19A viewer asks: “There is evidence the vaccines have been tested using HEK293 (Human Embryonic Kidney) cells of an innocent living child, a healthy little girl, born alive and outside the womb of her mother. She was then killed for and by the harvest of her organs. She was removed alive from her mother’s womb and killed by the removal of her kidneys. She was alive when all of this happened! She was an infant girl from the Netherlands born way back in 1972. We are divine beings; how can we condone this? She is also a divine being with a sacred soul! How can we take these vaccines knowing this little girl’s kidney cells (just the thought of it makes me feel sick!) were removed while she was still alive for the sake of science? How can we justify taking these vaccines?” Are these statements about what happened accurate? What can we tell him about the divine perspective?

His is a partial description of the interrelationship of the vaccines for the current pandemic and the fact they were tested on this human cell line during the development of the vaccine. Recipients of the vaccine will not be exposed to any of the cellular material or DNA, and thus there will be no direct karmic interplay with that tissue donor. As you know, we do not condone taking of life, through abortion or any other situation, but yours is a harsher world of the physical with many life and death hazards and risks. You are in peril frequently. The fragile nature of your makeup causes you to fear death above all else and to do almost anything to ward off death whenever you can. This has led to many technological solutions that are not highest and best, but a kind of stopgap measure to help you keep going and cling to life. So even though the best means have not been employed, even in the case of the vaccine program, this is a minor transgression, that the tissues were utilized as opposed to just killing this baby outright with no benefit to anyone but only loss, karmically. We have a different perspective of karma and its consequences than you will, being divine and you being a physical human at the moment. The Law of Karma parses everything quite finely, but there are many circumstances where there are greater and lesser evils side by side in things that happen because it is not possible to separate them. So this is a case where proximity to something non-divine is being blown up and magnified to represent something truly ghastly and condemn the vaccination program, everything connected with it, and the users or the recipients of the vaccine, even though their lives might be saved. The use of that cell line was not totally critical to the vaccine program as other cells could have been used, and we would say that the vast majority of karmic consequences in the utilization of that cell line fall on the mother, the father of the child, and the medical personnel assisting in the procedure ending in the death of the baby. The harvesting of the tissue might have been a selfish motivation in one sense, but it was also life-giving in the sense of assisting medical progress and scientific advances. We do not see that as a justification, but it is a mitigating factor in terms of karmic consequences. So the saving of lives by the vaccine far outweighs the fact that tissue was removed incidentally to an abortion, but put to work in service to humanity, at least within the human level of awareness of the time. This is also in keeping with the views of religious institutions like the Catholic Church who are against abortion but are forgiving with the issue of utilizing cellular material if it is in service to life and prolonging health and survival. In effect, it is a kind of karmic antidote that helps rebalance the scales to some extent. That will not absolve the individuals setting things in motion, but those farther down the chain of events, only coming upon what has now become a useful tool of science, will not be besmirching themselves in utilizing them for a useful purpose. One must always look at the details and understand the complexity of the circumstances of an event, along with the history and ultimate destiny of all involved tangentially in everything that happens—such things are rarely either black or white.
