DWQA QuestionsCategory: KarmaAre there risks of karmic entanglement from donating or receiving plasma or red blood cells, which are largely devoid of DNA, barring some cellular carryover?
Nicola Staff asked 4 years ago
There is consciousness present in all things, but the risks are appreciably greater when there is a transfer of DNA because that has a high information content in addition to basic energy of consciousness. So those elements of the blood devoid of DNA carry minimal risk and can themselves be lifesaving. It is difficult to avoid some inclusion of cellular material, but this is usually minuscule and will pose little long-term difficulty, and so can be ignored for all practical purposes. So this means donating plasma or packed red cells carries little karmic penalty for the donor or recipients of these life-giving materials.
