Can a physical handshake be used for sinister purposes by the interlopers, and what is the mechanism? Can it be used to transmit false signals?

The handshake, as you know, is an energetic exchange. Its purpose is to facilitate a sharing of information and awareness about the intentions of one another using this gesture. It is offered in friendship most typically, as a means of conveying openness and trust and showing the other party one has nothing to hide by inviting a look-see, as it were. When the intentions are mixed or dishonorable, this may or may not be perceived, depending on the intuitive awareness of the other party. So it is a gesture of limited practicality. In addition, there are other intuitive sensings that happen apart from the palms of the hand being involved. So this is not a primary mechanism with overriding significance. When there is an intention to interfere with someone or manipulate or delude them in some way, this can be projected through the handshake to cause a disarming and a dropping of the guard. So it is very much a tool used by the interlopers and their agents as they go out and about to interact with others. It is very much a direct energetic application and of consciousness as well, intending to plant a seed that will be used to amplify the agenda of the interloper by having follow-up thoughts and consequences developed within the mind. So while intended to be a gesture of openness allowing free inspection in order to engender trust, it in fact is a risky undertaking if the person offering their hand has sinister intentions.
