They do not attach because they have no particular desire to share a human experience or circumstance, particularly not one of diminishment and limitation. This is the plight of earthbound human spirits. They have a vestige of their former selves, in most respects. They are lacking the ability to understand their own dilemma, so they are of little value or utility to link to. Keep in mind, as well, that unlike the spirit meddlers who are cut off from the flow of life force energy from the divine realm, the extraterrestrials are still supported energetically in spirit form, as well as when in the physical. And so, they do not need a human host to siphon energy from, like the dark spirits, and will be able to navigate more effectively as an earthbound spirit than would be the case for most human lost soul spirits who become earthbound. They have more wherewithal to begin with, in terms of intellect. They are lacking their spiritual connection, but that is diminished in earthbound human spirits as well. So, comparing the two, the Reptilian spirits are more functional. It is a dilemma created by their disconnect from awareness of the divine realm, not that they have become unsupported, it is simply they have no expectation of reaching the higher astral plane set aside for them, and end up earthbound largely through their own ignorance. They do manipulate humans, and help to carry out coordinated attacks through handlers who speak with them and direct them. This is very analogous to the Anunnaki intermittent attackers. So, they share these two civilizations and awareness of the utility of their brethren who become earthbound in spirit form, and cynically exploit them to carry out coordinated surveillance, and attack of human targets, by enlisting spirit meddlers and facilitating their attachment.
