I’ve heard about the physical realm, spirit realm, light being realm, upper and lower astral plane, but I feel there is more? Are there 7 main realms that coincide with our chakras, 9 realms as told in lore throughout the ages, or something completely different?”

This is a quite complex subject and beyond human understanding at present and the reach of science as well. There are no words, in fact, to describe and distinguish the energetic layers in question because they involve phenomena unfamiliar to you so there is no easy way to communicate any level of detail here. But you are on track in perceiving things are not as simple as these models have portrayed. There in fact are many gradations and separations of energy that might overlap or interpenetrate in discrete areas and have an active interplay or be completely isolated because that is essential for their function. But the number of these is much greater than heretofore appreciated, and that is because the workings of the universe are more complicated than science currently understands and has in its awareness. The tools you have to probe the universe are still fairly rudimentary so there is much you do not yet know about, let alone understand about the energetics with the interplay of consciousness and what you would perceive through the usual senses available to you, as well as technologies, as physical matter being energy in another configuration.
