We cannot answer an open-ended question like this precisely, as there are many corrupt beliefs and dark practices and these will vary according to their origins, history, and the way they are utilized with respect to the specific intentions they invoke by the practitioners. These are not divine actions and will not have divine energy fueling them. But the darkness has energy as well, and that is the power of ritual, to invoke outside forces to amplify an intended outcome and this could be for good or evil, as the case might be. So the use of blood as a conveyance of power has a mechanistic basis to some extent. And this is evident in the criminal cabal that provides young victims sold to the rich for bloodletting, often accompanied by painful torture beforehand, so that the blood will contain a high level of stress hormones and carry with it a built-in bodily stimulus that is prized as a kind of energizer by those influenced by the darkness to engage in depravity. But the blood itself is not magical. It has no particular power or influence of its own other than being a part of the physical body and thus, because all cells have consciousness, has a sub-component of that individual as its energy. But the energy is of a material benefit only to a limited extent, and will not be able to transform or heal on its own.
