DWQA QuestionsCategory: Healing ModalitiesIs the calcium triphosphate hypothesis discussed accurate, that given a healthy oral probiotic bacterial population, it will form a mineralized barrier to degradation of teeth and gums that is more effective a protection than daily brushing and flossing?

That hypothesis is, in general, an accurate depiction of the sequence of events here that a healthy oral cavity and the presence of the calcium triphosphate will allow a mineralization of the bacterial population and its biochemical waste products, which acts as a kind of shield. While quite thin, it is also quite effective as a kind of natural barrier to chemical perturbation or microbial attack. That can be an effective shield regardless of other oral care practices, under ideal conditions, and that means content and ratio of the needed ingredients to override an aberrant oral biome and adverse environmental insults from various things that might be ingested that are harmful to tooth enamel, for example, or which might, in fact, perturb the mineralized barrier to prevent its complete formation or persistence and coverage of all the necessary vulnerable areas within the oral cavity. That is a tall order, but as we indicated in our initial evaluation of ProDentim, that this is a game changer for maintaining oral health and is highly worthwhile supplement to be using.
