It is not your failing, it is the constraint put upon the light to not violate free will choice, even by a troubled lost soul human spirit and a person they are corrupting from within. If there is a karmic agreement to interact, the divine realm must honor it. As you know, the way around this is to offer healing for the karmic drama underway, and this will allow a spirit to be enticed to move on and return to a healing and growth path once again, and allow their human hosts to heal as well. This will happen once the spirit is fully removed and you can see to this readily. She has been softened up, so to speak, through the initial work and the removal will now be straightforward.
