DWQA QuestionsCategory: High Level Psychic Attacks, CursesOne of the recurring themes in witchcraft lore is the notion of witches “selling their soul to the devil” in exchange for their magical powers. And while Creator has taught that such a thing cannot happen in actuality, the belief in the validity of this pact can turn this fiction into experiential fact, in that the divine is constrained to honor the belief and choices of such practitioners, leaving them unprotected, and open playthings for the interlopers to have their way with. Not to mention the severe karmic ramifications for the harm inflicted on the self and others as a consequence. What is Creator’s perspective?

As with all choices to depart from divine alignment, people are not judged by Creator and punished directly. That is what the Law of Karma is for as a dispassionate evenhanded way of reckoning the consequences of energy people launch into the universe, whether good or bad, so good deeds are rewarded at some point in the future, and so is wrongdoing. There is no true devil, it is more the case people act in a devilish and demonic way due to corruption, and the lowering of moral standards can drag them down to extremes of depravity. If not punished in the current life by karmic forces, they may well return to the heavenly realm, but if they reincarnate again that former pact with the devil, so to speak, will bring the Law of Karma back around to connect them to their wrongdoing energetically and they will need to rebalance, through repayment, the harm they caused. It might be done through many, many good deeds as a kind of compensation to right the wrongs, but it might also be through personal suffering, to go through the same travails they caused others to suffer, or compounded and much greatly magnified depending on how much damage was done and how it spread to others, such as a victim's loved ones. What this says is, flirting with demonic practices is never a good idea.
