DWQA QuestionsCategory: Spirit MeddlersWhy do people experience feeling coldness during perceived encounters with ghosts, or haunted places? Is that because the spirits are extracting energy from the environment to live on?

They do not live on energy from the environment per se, they require life force energy. Because they are soul-based beings, it is the energy of the soul or its equivalent that keeps them going. Being cut off from their soul, from being so unruly and a destructive influence in all they do, they are left to fend for themselves and must prey upon the living to function. The phenomenon of feeling a chill in the air is a consequence energetically, of dark spirits projecting malevolent thoughts. It exerts a kind of pressure on things to suppress them energetically, and this is why they can influence people to have dark thoughts, feel fatigued, and even descend into a deep depression. In the environment itself, this has an effect in reducing the environmental energies to go into a state of quiescence, and this reduces heat transfer through reduced molecular motion—that is what is being felt as a lowered temperature. It is perceived by the body and its sensors because the dark emanations are influencing you more so than the atmosphere around you if you are experiencing such a phenomenon. As such, humans are much more sensitive detectors of this phenomenon than thermometers.
