Unfortunately, this is very much the case. There are some forms of cryptos that have practical business uses in their own right, as a kind of cyber form of information, to keep track of things in a powerful way. But when they are used for financial transactions, as a medium of exchange, is where the aliens are wanting to entice as many as possible to indulge in purchasing the new issuing going on, because they also know there will be a turnabout in how they are viewed as a store of value or even a speculative investment.
