Will we need many years through multiple generations to heal our karma first?

This is the reason for the prolonged interval that will be required yet to see the dramatic promise of Ascension unfold. The efforts being made to prepare for Ascension and to add to the Shift in Consciousness are indirectly facilitating Ascension and that future eventuality, but primarily are holding back the negativity of the interlopers to create the possibility of that future more so than implementation of the workings of Ascension itself. This again speaks to the fact you must address first things first, and this is not truly a liability but an opportunity to maximize the gains of the investment in learning about the true meaning of free will and its consequences in dealing with the aftermath when things swing too far to the negative. This is hard-won learning that will pay many, many, dividends in the future.
