This is an honest and accurate description of an individual touched by the Holy Spirit and having a strong emotional reaction as well as a spiritual phenomenon of speaking in tongues take place. This is not the be-all and end-all of spiritual expression analogous to a kind of holy grail where one has not reached the pinnacle unless they can speak in tongues. This has no inherent value except as a physical demonstration of faith and an answering by the divine realm to enable someone to do something unusual. It is analogous to those who exhibit stigmata, a wound opening on the hands or wrists and shedding blood. This is not something we inflict on people, even to be an encouragement for building greater faith, it is something self-chosen and wanted as a personal milestone and demonstration of their belief, and there is a cooperation by the body as well as the divine to bring about such phenomena. But again, this is a personal decision and desire we may participate in, in order to provide feedback, a validation of the connection they not only want greatly to happen but are ready for because of a high level of belief and expectation.
This is why many exhibit such a phenomenon that, even when it is a nonsense language, it is satisfying a personal need in a way not inherently dangerous to their well-being. We are not enabling someone to do something superhuman they are not capable of inherently as a proof of faith. We see no value in risking the life or even well-being by challenging physical limits in a way requiring a divine support or rescue to avoid something dire. So the degree in which we can provide something perceptible, in the way of feedback to a request to commune with us, will depend on personal expectation as well as their belief quotient in what can be supported for them to experience whether physical, mental, or emotional in nature.
