Unfortunately, this rather grim picture does not at all overstate the risks but, if anything, does not do justice to the level of complications and disappointment the future holds for those who venture forward on this path to rely on AI systems for their major corporate architecture and idea generation and implementation. This is, in effect, handing the reins over to extraterrestrial technology, whether in a strictly human stage of development or partially corrupt already on the part of the higher-level AI systems being embraced more and more, particularly for internal systems of high-powered organizations. We understand this creates a dilemma in seeing that a would-be solution offering great empowerment, cost savings, and productivity is not only flawed but most likely fatally so. The only reassurance we can give is that the fortunate will be those who get by without interference the longest. But that is poor comfort, knowing that all are heading for oblivion or at least a dead-end situation.
