A client describes finding strange indentations in the floor in front of her computer and next to her bed consisting of four marks spaced equidistant from one another. What caused these?

Her intuition is quite correct that this is science-fiction-like in its occurrence and has that feel to her. These were left by an alien surveillance team that was collecting electronic information as well as doing monitoring of her while she slept, and this is the aftereffect of their presence, again, in a way that is ill-defined to the untrained and inexperienced but is perceptible to her as being a close encounter on a deep level of her awareness, where it counts. That was done purposefully to remind her that they can have access to her directly any time they choose and to put her on notice to be disciplined and maintain silence.
