DWQA QuestionsCategory: Non-Local ConsciousnessA practitioner asks: “Can the psychic intentions of some people’s dreams influence other people mentally? Is there a potential karmic danger there, even if they don’t realize what their dreams are doing?”

Both of these things are true and are routine hazards that take place without, for the most part, people being aware of what they have done consciously. It is the other levels of the mind during the dream state raising stressful and ugly subject matter and reacting emotionally, and perhaps exaggerating the inner responses overall and magnifying their potential harmful nature. After all, people routinely spend a great deal of time dreaming about unpleasantness, it is a way of processing what took place, and this provides a mechanism for repairing the damage prior to memory consolidation where it goes into long-term storage, and then will be on record for all of time as a component of what took place, that there was an injury, a grievance, or a positive thing if it was an event that was a blessing or act of kindness. So, as we have explained previously, thoughts matter always and they go on record and are preserved if they rise to a threshold of significance. There are many things that are fleeting, and much of the dream material is essentially recounting things observed to have happened and that are on record in the akashic records proper. So if a person is awakened during such a review, they may be shocked at the nature of what the mind was doing if it is from a life where they were tortured or killed, for instance, but these are routine because people have had so many bad things happen to them through the ages and not all has been healed; in fact, most will not have been thoroughly put into perspective and the negative emotion drained away—that takes a concerted healing effort done in the right way, and this the mind will rarely do effectively on its own to a full extent. This is a defect in the workings of the mind, to be cut off and not have all of the resources available that could help arrange better and more effective and efficient outcomes, in the use of thought even, during the dream state. But even though people are not functioning optimally, and this predisposes them to make mistakes and to have exaggerated responses that might be more harmful than certainly would be chosen intentionally to carry out, the Law of Karma will still couple the consequences to their akashic records. So it will be stored indefinitely as an event where they created the insertion of negativity into the world, and if directed at a particular individual or individuals, may harm them, and that will be seen as a penalty by the Law of Karma and there will be consequences accordingly.
