This is a complex discussion because there are many, many nuances, in how the energies work, of consciousness and its consequences. You are engaged in a vast interplay of energies from beings of all kinds fueled by intentions in their launching, and that is true of you and your own thoughts, desires, and requests you launch to those around you, including the divine realm. Because of the rules of engagement, we can do relatively little unless you have belief in us and belief in yourself as well. Both of those requirements are equally important in supporting a divine intervention of some kind you might be requesting. If your faith in us is weak, our response to you will be weak, correspondingly. Because of the fact we cannot lead, we can only use your energy of intention to empower our response for assistance. If your belief and faith in us is weak, a prayer you launch will only enable a weak response and it may well not be enough to be of practical value—that is limited at your end and not ours. This is important to understand and speaks most clearly and urgently about the need to build your faith towards a rock-hard belief in the possibilities of having a robust, dynamic, and effective partnership with the divine. Because we cannot lead, a demand for proof will go unanswered as we cannot override your disbelief, because you have free will and we must honor your choice to be in doubt and disbelieve in our existence or willingness to answer your requests. So the key is that you must know you are in charge, and not us, about everything you want to see happen with us being involved in some way. If you doubt yourself and your worthiness, this again will limit the power of our ability to help you because we cannot treat you as something greater than what you believe about yourself. This puts you at a great disadvantage, especially when you need help the most, in a weakened state where you are suffering. But keep in mind, this is what friends are for and healing practitioners who can stand strong with a high belief quotient and be your advocate to substitute for a personal shortcoming, perhaps only of a temporary nature because you are at a low ebb and not truly yourself. And that made you vulnerable, and that worsening you are experiencing may need some outside help to come to the rescue and, in the process, will also serve to help restore faith you, yourself, have weakened through letting doubt creep in, because you are perhaps fearful or unhappy and in a negative frame of mind.
