DWQA QuestionsCategory: Subconscious ChannelingGiven that some clients will not purchase or trust something sight-unseen, or truly want to know something about their underlying history, is continuing to do sessions the old way justified?

Clients will vary in how willing they are to take a leap of faith, but keep in mind there are many healers who do mysterious healing processes with little feedback even possible, because they themselves are simply working with energy, and there is no way to describe that to the client nor any karmic underpinnings that might have caused the discord to be apparent and needing attention, so this is hardly unprecedented in the realm of alternative healing modalities. You are somewhat biased in having done much work the old way and do understand that many will be highly curious to see what was unearthed, because you have presented that to them, so they know and expect there will be a story that evolves. People are understandably curious about their past history and, of course, have a vested interest in their healing, so it is all-important from their perspective—that does not mean they must have that feedback and are entitled to it. You are providing the session work and you have the authority and responsibility to do your utmost for the client. What tips the balance, in our thinking, is that we have cautioned you before, a number of times, that providing too much detail about old karmic business is unwise even though people will be intrigued, say they can handle it, and may well feel insulted if you plead wanting to go gently and not unduly ruffle feathers or stir up fears, and so on. So this is a classic dilemma of the game, I've Got a Secret, where telling someone that statement will trigger curiosity, and then resentment if they cannot be let in on the secret and will feel, in some way, rejected if you know more than they do about an aspect of themselves. So, in this case, it is not that you are extracting a full compendium of horrific accounts of past life travesties but simply saying, "We can't tell you the details because it might hurt you." You yourselves will not know, as practitioners, what the deep subconscious is working on, with respect to the actual events, and so, in that way, you as well as the client are shielded from the gory details. That is not a problem and not a cause of any limitation on your part in delivering an effective facilitation for the healing work. So we see that as a win-win and not a loss to anyone but, human nature being what it is, we understand there will be some who will not buy into the story in the first place, but might if they experience a session done the old way and hear the fascinating past stories that they hold within as a source of continued pain and suffering. So this is a human decision. The trade-offs and opportunities for doing more in a given session are quite real and, as you are thinking, there is always the possibility of giving them a sample session done the old way to have them gain a better feeling for the reality of the need that is present, and then offering them a streamline empowered session to be done, but without feedback, so they themselves can make a decision about whether it is worth getting more but learning less esoteric knowledge about their past, and that is a perfect compromise ethically as well, because you are not withholding a more powerful tool and efficient way of proceeding. So if people are determined to gain more knowledge and details about their past traumas and you want to do sessions for them the old way, you can.
