In working to help would-be channelers to get started channeling successfully, what would be the best target for them to use? Their own deep subconscious? Their higher self? A third party?

In terms of ease of access, starting with the deep subconscious would be the most doable. It is not residing in the divine realm and requiring of quite high vibration for interaction. The most accessible would be troubled spirits of various kinds. Because they are such low vibration it will be the least challenging for the beginning channeler. The only drawback here is that many beginning channelers may be triggered to have fear around this idea and that could inhibit things sufficiently to prevent success in getting over the hump, so to speak, and making a breakthrough to have a successful channeling experience to prove that it is doable as a starting point to build on. So your idea here nicely encompasses a range of possibilities from easiest to hardest. It is a good idea to start with the most accessible of targets, all other things being equal, but the safest would certainly be one’s own mind. The important consideration to keep in mind is that to be conducted properly, it needs to be done using Creator’s translator, so each person will be going through the energy of Creator to carry out the channeling. And as such, even though they will be talking to part of their own mind, because it is through the divine, there needs to be divine criteria in place that could limit access through this means. So the usual rules for divine communication apply. It will not be supported if it is used with harmful intent. It will also not be supported if it is used as a test to validate the accuracy of the channeling. This will obviously require some careful mentoring to help the would-be channeler understand how to navigate here, that the best validation will come over time with an accumulated body of information which might be underwhelming at first in level of detail or novelty, but over time will bring many things forward the person themselves would not know. So things like the experiences in other lifetimes, and so on, will be fair game and readily conveyed because they cannot be independently verified by the skeptic and so do not constitute actual proof of anything regarding the validity of the channeling session itself. Someone intuitively adept could independently corroborate the existence of those energies within the akashic records, but that is a human prerogative and not something provided independently by the divine to load the dice in favor of belief in the process. If a person takes unilateral action independently and not requiring divine participation in offering proof but simply going to the akashic records directly and doing some exploration, that is entirely within the purview of the divine human to do on their own if they choose, and will not be helped or hindered by the divine realm. It is simply that human choices will always be allowed but if they are unwise and harmful will not be supported directly by the divine realm. Because the records are open to all, if they have sufficient intuitive reach they can go there directly and see what is on record.
