We would say that having the lost soul spirit of her former husband possessing her has been the greatest obstacle in warming up to a new man and letting them into her heart. The sum total of prior karma has weighed heavily also, not to mention other events in her current life where she was abused or neglected by men in her life, all of which is enough to give anyone pause before letting their guard down enough to allow someone so close, to yet again be trusted with her well-being and happiness. That is a key component of love relationships and is one of the most gratifying aspects, to experience extreme closeness and the level of trust that depends on. It is freeing and it is uplifting as well, as two souls come together and live as one, because both will be raised up and further empowered by gaining strength through the sharing of their energies in the karmic intertwining bringing that into action energetically. The saying, "No one is an island," speaks to this reality, that humans were not designed to go solo through life but to use a love relationship as a basic operational foundation and operating platform, because it will do the most for both parties for their learning and growth and enabling them to be more effective in everything they do from the extra wherewithal. Not to mention, having the additional knowledge and resources of someone they can trust completely who will backstop them and give them direct assistance at times if needed, so they can be ever more effective in a wider fashion than they could living alone.
