DWQA QuestionsCategory: Divine GuidanceWhat is the divine perspective of the saying: “The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing?” Socrates

This saying sounds quite harsh and even can seem insulting. It is nonetheless a truism that human capability is quite limited. Your growth is stunted as well because you are held back and you are corrupted with a disconnection from the higher realms and the intuitive reach, which can bring in many knowings by the ability of the mind to roam free and absorb information simply for the asking. The end result is people are restricted in their brainpower in their ability to access deep knowledge and truths of a divine nature. What humans know is always a surface understanding and often a construct or model that is satisfying intellectually, but based on a limited perspective and understanding of the true workings that bring something about or the deeper construction and makeup. This is what science attempts to probe but its tools are quite limited, so at best there is still a superficial understanding of nature at all levels as well as human existence and the makeup of the human being in its many dimensions. Under these circumstances, the seemingly factual information provided by science is inherently limited and flawed. Most is conjecture that fits certain data, but over time all scientific paradigms are overturned, to be replaced by something more refined and that will involve further probing, and perhaps a somewhat deeper layer of inspection, and then the hypothesis will serve to inform and create a better model of how things are, but that will still be a conjecture simply fitting certain observations. The true understanding will be elusive and hidden. So this saying is more true than not because almost everything you know will prove to be a misunderstanding, a misinterpretation, and flawed in major respects that will only become clear with a deeper awareness and an unearthing of deeper truths that are beyond your reach at present. This is the attainment all are yearning to reach, the true enlightenment where all is understood and people once again enjoy the reach of the light being who is conversant with the workings of the universe, the existence and reality of the divine, and have the divine as their best friend and live bathed in Creator’s love. That is quite a contrast to your present circumstances but is the best way we can illustrate in a few words the truth of this saying, that there is so much beyond your knowledge and awareness, that this becomes a truism in that context, that you are just beginning to scratch the surface of the universe with what you know.
