The human lost souls are more capable of feigning friendship and a benign or even helpful agenda. The meddlers have a hard time maintaining such a persona. They will be more forceful in their intentions and this will make someone highly sensitive, bristle, and draw quickly the ire in response from the meddlers themselves, and they will reveal their darker nature.
