DWQA QuestionsCategory: Problems in SocietyZimbardo wrote about the Rwandan genocide. The Holocaust Museum website gives this summary: “Under the cover of war, Hutu extremists launched their plans to destroy the entire Tutsi civilian population. Violence spread with lightning speed through the capital and into the rest of the country, and continued for roughly three months. Between 500,000 and one million people, mostly Tutsis, were slaughtered in 100 days. Hutu militias, backed, trained and equipped by Rwandan government forces, were responsible for the majority of the killing.” Zimbardo wrote: “A Hutu murderer said in an interview a decade later that ‘The worst thing about the massacre was killing my neighbor; we used to drink together, his cattle would graze my land. He was like a relative.'” Zimbardo wrote further, “The testimonies of these ordinary men – mostly farmers, active churchgoers and a former teacher – are chilling in their matter-of-fact, remorseless depiction of unimaginable cruelty. Their words force us to confront the unthinkable again and again: that human beings are capable of totally abandoning their humanity for a mindless ideology, to follow and then exceed the orders of charismatic authorities to destroy everyone they label as ‘The Enemy.'” Can Creator help us make sense of this sense-less event in recent human history?

Here is an outstanding example of a cultural influence run amuck where old tribal conflicts and points of friction, resulting in cultural clashes and a long history of suffering, get carried to the ultimate of extremes. How can it be otherwise when you are subject to the whims of psychopaths wanting to make you suffer? Given their nature, the psychopath will not stop, given a free hand. Being hollow, it takes more and more extremes to represent a reward because any kind of influence they have, in demonstrating their power and control, will not fill the hollowness inside them. Their appetite grows and this is why there are so often events that start small and then grow without people coming to their senses but seemingly rushing towards a fire instead of away from danger. There is something deeply wrong with such a picture and the nature of the psychopath very much dictates a worsening of their situation over time because there is no answer for their dilemma. Just to live with themselves, they need stimulation, especially from things done through their energy, to make them feel relevant and reinforce and reward their egotistical belief in their self-importance. Because they are loveless beings, nothing in the way of a positive feedback is of interest. Here we are speaking of love-based notions and gestures like kindness, praise, and adoration that is genuinely love-based and intensely caring. That is quite different than bowing down to someone out of fear in order to save one's own hide. That is not prayer or adoration but a desperate cringing under the weight of knowing you are expendable and an underling at the mercy of a powerful overlord. Living under tyrants does this to the underlings and, if they are spiritually disconnected as well, there will be many shared deficiencies apparent in the feelings and actions of the populace—that creates a powerful karmic dilemma and wounding because it all goes on record. The akashic records of everything that happens are a permanent storehouse, not only describing everything that takes place and everyone's contribution but connecting the dots of intention and consequence so the flow and flux of energies, positive or negative, will be on display for all to see and discernable in order to make an accounting for the actions of everyone on a detailed basis. That works both ways. It is both a recording of your actions and a series of energetic consequences that will return to you at regular intervals courtesy of the Law of Karma. The system is designed to provide that as a stimulus to seek restitution, a rebalancing, and taking responsibility for any bad actions or their opposite in getting a reward on occasion for something one has done to help others or the self as well. These cultural imprints can become quite powerful. Many are deceptions to begin with, a contrivance of the interlopers, to create friction between groups, whether tribes or cultural neighbors of larger nation-states. Their entire strategy is a consistent application of the principle of divide and conquer in order to stay in power and maintain control over everyone and everything. It is highly effective. You see its handiwork everywhere, not only all through history but every day in the news all around you at all levels. The fingerprints of the interlopers are everywhere in causing calamities, chaos, and karmic worsening of things. The tragedy of the genocidal massacre of the Tutsis by the Hutus was a perfect example of an orchestration to endanger and harm on a mass scale. In this instance, historical bad blood between these culturally distinct tribal members, which was created by the interlopers to get them to squabble and be at odds with one another, and to increase that further in a series of greater misunderstandings, opportunistic taking of advantage, petty thefts, property disputes, and so on, ramped up again and again, grew into a series of violent clashes. This provided a karmic backdrop that was perfect for a purging using genocidal impulses to ramp up passions and cause a high percentage of the population to be caught up in those emotions swirling tornado-like across the region. This was instigated by the Extraterrestrial Alliance, aided and abetted through mind control manipulation to prepare each side for a reckoning and, in this case, the dice were loaded in the favor of the Hutus gaining and maintaining the upper hand. The rest is on record as you have recounted in the tragic loss of life. The odd thing about it to the historian, as described by this author, is the seeming resignation as though such a genocidal slaughter were an inevitability, instead of being viewed as an extraordinary exception, being inhuman after all. But, of course, that is a relative term when humans are often inhuman themselves in their conduct and treatment of one another.
