DWQA QuestionsCategory: Divine GuidanceA practitioner asks: “How come I see clearly that my suffering has had a purpose and others in the GetWisdom group claim that suffering has no purpose? Is it true that I am learning to use my sensitive and intuitive abilities effectively and my suffering, as Jesus refers to, is playing a purpose for me in my learning by giving me a sense of what needs to be transmuted? How come those who contribute more often suffer more?”

We would disagree with the characterization that suffering has no purpose, stated categorically. It is true that, in a sense, suffering is a choice because there are always ways to change it for the better, not that it is necessarily easy to do so, but that is almost a philosophical question for most people who are in the throes of dealing with a karmic backlog of trauma that might require many years, if ever, during a single lifetime to clear it. But one must start somewhere to get somewhere, and whatever is unhealed during the current life will surely return to the person in future lives as unmet need and demand a resolution at that point, and intrude on the life experience and produce symptoms and suffering yet again. So the question is, "What to do about it?" more than question its purpose and appropriateness. Everyone can feel pain, and that is a good thing because pain serves a purpose. It lets you know something is wrong, you are at risk, something is being impinged on, and stirring up trouble. With a warning from that symptom, you can take action to remedy the situation, and perhaps head off a worse outcome than what is underway currently. Indeed, pain is hard to avoid, hard to tune out and ignore. That, too, is purposeful because there is a benefit in having a compelling incentive to take action when suffering commences. The fact that all too often the reason for the suffering is vague and ill-defined, with respect to true origin, does not reduce its importance to the individual. We see suffering as an inevitable part of life until one has reached such an advanced stage of enlightenment they become unflappable and, for all practical purposes, invulnerable to outside manipulation and influence causing discord and inner tension—that is a quite high standard few can achieve. So suffering is a valuable symptom pointing towards an important need, and that you will be benefitted if you take it seriously and do something productively to address it. That is the artful part, but you are blessed in understanding better than most the workings of energy, karma, and outside manipulations of many sorts that can cause difficulty and give rise to symptoms, knowing there are Empowered Prayers and the Lightworker Healing Protocol to reckon with adversity and set it right. So you are in a privileged position, from that standpoint, to make something of the situation that will result in a gain for you in the end. Without experiencing suffering, you would not be as thorough, as diligent, and persistent in conducting healing work for your own benefit, and that is simply human nature. Those present in the earth plane presently, include many, many old souls who have been in the earth plane hundreds of times and seen the progression of events from the very beginning, for the rise of evil, and are old hands in confronting it but, unfortunately, always coming from behind with inadequate tools to deal with the task. That is why evil has gotten out of hand, because those in a position to push back lack the means to do it effectively and solve the problem, so it escalated and compounded, and here you are today limping to the finish line beleaguered and wounded. That is why you see a correlation with so many healers who are actually suffering, the suffering is a consequence of prior trauma, so their life agenda is to serve the cause of the divine in the Human Free Will Enterprise, to bring healing to bear on evil, and set the stage for a true ascension of humanity once enough healing has happened to make that possible. Keep in mind it is the lightworkers, the healers among them especially, who are often targeted to keep them sidelined and ineffectual if that is possible. This has resulted in a high percentage of those interested in healing work having been severely wounded themselves. So it is not a case of the blind leading the blind where you have the paralyzed wanting to learn to make better crutches, because they have good reason, it is that those who contributed, and have suffered for it, are returning to the fray and once again wanting to confront the problem head-on and solve it even with the added difficulty of their own karmic consequences creating an impairment making the task ever more difficult—that we see as heroism and foresight. You have an appreciation for the big picture most do not, and that is owing to your relative freedom from manipulation, unlike most of your human brethren at the moment. It is not easy to stay above the manipulation and have enough clarity to do something useful and purposeful that contributes to a betterment of things. Those wounded lightworkers are very much needed and are the key to whether or not humanity will persist in the face of your opposition from the interlopers.
