Your question is presenting a very limited and superficial set of assumptions about something that is extremely complex that has been going on for billions of years and affecting many, many, beings. In actuality, there is more to gain than to lose from the experiment underway if it proves to be successful. That is the spirit behind the enterprise and why the entire universe wants the benefits, with the exception of the dark beings in your galaxy. We have gone over this history previously, to point out there have been previous universes that were reconfigured in prior attempts to widen the possibilities for all beings to have greater autonomy and personal influence on things around them. While some beings may get recycled with such a restart, those who are truly a useful configuration and starting point for a retooling will persist. This is part of the cost of progress in seeking a working balance that rewards everyone and contains much, much, less in the way of hazards. That is the goal we strive for, and all who are working with us. Those among you who are the so-called old souls have been around through prior creation events. That is the way to view this. Human souls are immortal unless they are so neglectful their soul becomes too damaged to salvage. That is a risk only of beings with your galaxy, not those beings in the wider universe.
