DWQA QuestionsCategory: PrayerA practitioner writes: “Last Sunday, I stood in my kitchen waiting for the coffee to brew. I thought “this is a good time to launch a prayer”, so I said the virus prayer. Afterwards I was compelled to look within my mind’s eye and I saw a spiral of energy in perpetual motion moving up and away from me at a 45 degree angle. As I looked at it I wondered “where is this stream of energy headed, where does it go?” Then I heard the following (I am typing it exactly as I heard it) “infinite prayer request – you CAN follow the spiral, it goes on forever. No point in following to view – it will remain the same indefinitely – a prayer has been launched”. Wow, something just happened. I’d never seen that before. Okay, let’s see if I can take this further, while I’m riding this wave of clarity. I stood there and said my code word out loud to see if the spiral would happen again. Nada. Nothing. Then I heard “no point – little point in launching with one word alone unless you know the prayer to which you are attaching the code word. The word alone must have intention attached. Hanging by itself cannot – is not effective. There must be a conscious connection to the prayer.” (Again exactly as I heard it or interpreted it). It’s true – I was so enamored with what I had just witnessed, I said the code word without intention. I was focused on the spiral I had just seen and I wanted to see it again.” Is that a correct interpretation of what happened?

She was indeed seeing with clarity the energetics of what she was doing with respect to launching a prayer and seeing the intention spreading outward. As we have explained to you a number of times, it is the intention more so than the words that matter, and that is what the divine will follow to act on the instruction coming from the human side. This is why prayers cannot be effective if they are phony. If people are simply going through the motions and do not care about the consequences, there will be little intention for something to truly happen and the effects will be meager at best. If not heartfelt, prayers cannot be acted on. Doing something by rote as a kind of penance is not the platform for launching lofty intentions. That can undercut the effectiveness altogether if done in a resentful way. By the same token, heartfelt prayer as for safety and protection that has multiple parts can be summarized in a single code word and used as such to launch the same prayer over and over and over again without having to take the time to go through each and every part of the prayer. So this is a kind of streamlining that is allowed because humans are lofty beings and there is no need for make-work that can be accomplished more efficiently. So a code word that represents a group of requests can be used in their stead for efficiency. But what this practitioner witnessed intuitively, was the fact that if done without thinking about the purpose at all, there will be no intention and the word is simply the word, much as if they were reading a story and that same word happened to appear. It would not cause a prayer to be launched because in the context of the story that would make no sense, and has nothing to do with the intention of the author, or the reader in this particular context. So, to couple intention with a code word is simply to bring the idea to mind of what one is wanting. That will be a sufficient energetic bridge to the original wording, in full, of the prayer requests bundled together under the code word, and the individual intentions behind each of those sub-requests as part of the whole can then be referenced in tracing the energy back to the origin. That is the sequence of steps mechanistically, in the use of a code word representing a string of requests to be launched in unison, using a code word for short. So holding, in this case the intention of safety and protection, in mind while saying the code word will be sufficient to bridge the gap and link the original intention with the new usage of the code word to launch a repetition of the total prayer in all of its meaning and subparts. It is also still of value to call upon the Almighty before using the code word, and this has not been clarified heretofore. That will set the stage for making the full interpretation of what one is doing, and is a good precaution to take. It will also help the person launching the code word to be in a proper frame of mind to link the intentions with the launching of the code word, because it will put the person back into prayer mode, so to speak, by first saying "Dear Lord, Almighty God, Allah," in whatever way they wish to summon the divine and that will carry with it all the association for creating a new divine partnership. That will raise the vibration, as well as confer protection from outside awareness other than the divine realm.
