So he was, in effect, haunting the home through his presence and that, as well, can be sensed by people who are more intuitive than average and will cause inner disquiet at a minimum, or begin to contribute to a state of chronic fatigue leading to exhaustion in some who have trouble healing the buildup of such inner turmoil. This is how people can become ill from their surroundings. It is often attributed to chemical sensitivity like having an allergy to mold. It can be, truly, karmic negativity from other human beings leaving their mark on a location as a negative residue that harms others.
