You are on to something here that would seem most unlikely to most, if not all, with whom you share this perspective, but there is a fondness on the part of the interlopers for the New York Giants and the opposite is the case for the New York Jets. The interlopers routinely manipulate athletic contests of all sorts simply to do mischief and cause misery for those whose lives are changed artificially by their machinations.
