DWQA QuestionsCategory: KarmaA viewer asks: “There is a Tale of Two Teams. The Los Angeles Lakers are perennial winners, and the Los Angeles Clippers are perennial losers. Both hail from the same city, so any hometown influence or atmosphere of struggle and despair would not factor into the stark difference here. Can Creator comment on what the cogent differences are behind the scenes influences that account for the dramatic differences in the fortunes of the two teams?”

This is a good illustration of the power of persisting energies once a series of lost games develops momentum to the negative and then becomes considered a losing streak. This is always a bad omen and raises additional fear that, in turn, retriggers negative karmic history of losing and having failures of all kinds on the part of the players and those working with them as well as the fanbase who will be triggered to think about their connections to and identification with losing strategies and past failures of their own, and will react negatively to what they witness and begin to question their trust in their favorite team. And this can turn them into not only a lack of support that would otherwise be the case from a fan, to an adversary unwittingly because of subconscious negativity that is sent out to the team and its members as a form of psychic attack. Such energies combine and build within the energy of the players and this will be a significant negative influence affecting their performance, their mood, and their ability to cope with loss further should that happen. When you see extreme examples of high performance and low performance, you can be sure there is a prolonged history of both good outcomes or bad in the respective circumstances. This momentum is the sum total of karmic influences acting as a tailwind or a headwind, so to speak, to propel a team forward or hold it back and this can make all the difference. If you keep in mind that when all players involved are of professional caliber, it is the intangibles, the circumstances from moment to moment during play when things will break one’s way or favor the other team in some respect that often make all the difference at the end of the game when the time runs out and the opponent is in the lead despite a superior performance during other parts of the contest. Many times, those crucial turning points are governed by karmic forces to exact a penalty in an attempt to rebalance past difficulty and obligation, and it will turn the tide to the downside for the loser but this will not be perceived or understood. Even so, there will be an unhealthy and inappropriate human tendency to blame them for the loss—for who else can one point to? It is on their shoulders to win and they bear the brunt of disappointment from themselves and team members and beyond to their entire organization and the many viewers of the contest and fans who want them to succeed but are hurt when they do not.
