DWQA QuestionsCategory: Human PotentialAfter surveying the literature of available information on this topic, including channeled material, some of which is certainly not entirely reliable, we end up with a short list or “best guess” of what seven basic archetypical types of human expressions or roles might be. There is the helper type, which expressed as an occupation would be a nurse. The next would be the artistic type. Typical occupations would involve any and all types of experiential manipulation from fashion designer to architect to interior decorator to musician. The next type would be the athletic type. These are your professional soldiers and professional athletes and even school teachers. They gravitate to competition of all kinds and small-group leadership roles. One body of literature denoted these three types as common. These three—helper, artistic, and athletic—are asserted to constitute nearly two-thirds of all humanity. What is Creator’s perspective?

This is a fair characterization, if certainly a blunt tool, to apply an overall label to something as varied as a human being, and all that entails, given that individuals have many roles in life and, if involved with a family, will be doing teaching, will be a caregiver, a helper, and in many cases a researcher to find out how to troubleshoot the problems of their loved ones, and may well need to be an athlete at times to keep up with their youngsters or perhaps engage in athletic play. But again, these archetypes are meant to understand human nature and human culture and, as such, these three, in particular, viewed as representing a majority of human beings, comprise major divine attributes as the central pillar in each instance. Doing something as a helper is in divine alignment, at least in the raw intention if not the implementation always, and that is certainly the most godlike of characteristics because it recognizes the importance of serving others as well as the self and will involve give and take, which is a search for balance to address universal needs, and, as you are all members of a human family, there is an inherent obligation to serve when called upon or when opportunity arises to do so. So that role is a reflection of divine principles by its very nature and its consequences. The artistic archetype is equally divine, although many would not see it as of practical importance compared to the helper archetype, for example, but we are not making judgments here, we are only talking about what is divine and what might not be, or what might be a lesser indication of divinity. Everything involving the arts, in all forms, is a direct reflection of divinity because it is a major part of who we are, what we perceive, what we value, and what we instill in everything we do and everything we create. This is why you have natural beauty in abundance. This is why you see beauty in life forms and in one another, both physically and emotionally. The spiritual side of you gives rise to great beauty as well and beauty is present in every other undertaking. An elegant and masterful turn of phrase by the scholar is a form of beauty, and so is an athletic feat showing the extraordinary richness of possibilities for the physical expression by athletes. The arts are often seen as frivolous, of lesser importance, and often the first thing to be cut from budgets in schools. This is a great mistake because you are stunting spiritual growth in doing so. When you are doing something artistic, you are doing something godlike, and that will not only raise you up, it will raise up others simply witnessing you in action, and that may rub off in the form of an inspiration to do likewise, perhaps in another way, using another medium of expression, but nonetheless becoming inspired to see beyond the narrow confines of eking out a living and taking care of the mundane housekeeping duties of life. And here we do not wish to denigrate anything but only contrasting what might be quite routine and viewed as drudgery versus something fresh, novel, and exciting that entices the eye and raises the horizons as the arts have done through human history. You need the arts, if nothing else, to remind you about the divinity within you, both to create and to appreciate artistic expression in harmonizing with the divine and the great love we have for all of you. It is a way we can be present with you, in your life experience directly, and brings us great joy. The athlete is divine in representing dedication, commitment, and applying the self diligently, in a systematic way, to make gains and reach desired goals. This is what athletes do at the core of what they aspire to achieve, in surmounting obstacles, starting with their own personal weaknesses and limitations. In working to attain excellence and best others in competition, they are seeking learning and growth in a very tangible fashion. It does not so much involve the intellect as the physical immersion you are experiencing by inhabiting a body in the physical plane. That is the most basic and direct of challenges for all because it is foreign to you, given you are inherently a light being and not a physical animal, except when you incarnate on the Earth for a time. So it is directly a body of endeavors that are central to your mission, to learn how to navigate and cope with challenges of all kinds, and adversity as well, given your body is fragile, easily attacked, needs protection, and much healing to keep going and achieve a long and healthful life. So it is a kind of ongoing report card about how you are doing, how you are living your life. Keeping your body healthy, youthful, strong, and vibrant is an achievement that can only come about through personal commitment. Granted, some are endowed with more musculature, more innate skills for using their anatomy, having better balance, quicker reflexes, greater endurance, and so on, but it is the act of overcoming limitations and making the best of what one has, in following a path that is natural and intended for the athlete to seek that arena, which demonstrates divinity, in having a commitment to a life purpose that suits their soul makeup for that incarnation.
